2024 : A Year of Growth, Transformation, and New Businesses

This time last year, I was standing on the edge of a decision that felt both exhilarating and terrifying. I had built something I loved with Emily Bridalwear, a beautiful and thriving bridal shop where I had the privilege of helping women find the dress for one of the most important days of their lives. It was fulfilling, magical, and exactly where I thought I was meant to be.

But deep down, there was a small voice whispering, “What more could you do? What more could this become?”

I didn’t know what “more” looked like then. It was just an idea, a dream in its infancy. I was excited but also scared. What if I failed? What if no one believed in this vision? But something bigger pushed me forward, the possibility of creating something even greater, not just for me but for others in the wedding industry.

Fast forward one year, and Together Membership is no longer just an idea. It is a reality. It is a new business, growing and reaping the reward of me making the move.  It is a transformative platform that supports wedding suppliers and couples alike, giving them the tools, strategies, and confidence to grow, connect, and create something extraordinary.

Looking back, I cannot believe how much has changed. In twelve months, I have gone from dreaming about “what if” to building something I am incredibly proud of.

Growth, Transformation, and Leaps of Faith

When I first started planning Together Membership, I felt like I was stepping into the unknown. It was a completely new venture, one that stretched me far beyond my comfort zone. That stretch, the push to think differently, to take risks, and to embrace the “what if,” has been the most rewarding part of this journey.

I have met incredible people, learned new skills, faced my fear of public speaking and built a community that shares my passion for making the wedding industry not only more successful but also more balanced and fulfilling. There have been moments of doubt, of course. But every challenge has been an opportunity to grow, and every success has reminded me why I took this leap in the first place.

The Power of Starting

This journey has taught me something that I want to share with you. The fear and worry of “what if” will still be there a year from now. But imagine what could happen if you just start.

If I hadn’t allowed myself to dream, if I hadn’t taken that first step a year ago, none of this would exist. It is not about having the perfect plan or waiting until you feel “ready.” It is about saying yes to possibility and trusting yourself to figure it out along the way.

What’s Next

I am so excited for everything that is to come in the next year. Together Membership has big plans, with live events, new programmes, and even more ways to support wedding suppliers and couples. Emily Bridalwear continues to be a source of joy, allowing me to connect with brides and create magical moments every day.

For anyone reading this who feels that pull, that whisper of “what if,” let me tell you: go for it. Jump. Do the thing. You will never regret taking a step toward something more, even if it feels uncertain at first.

Because the truth is, the fear will always be there. But so will the opportunity for transformation.
